Muss Neush and Commercuol Club gurls admure S3409 of busuness machunes purchased by the Commercual Club DEDICATICN To a woman whose servuce and devotuon to students school and communuty deserves recognutuon the 1960 Elmanac Staff pays trubute Muss Vera Leone Neush a busuness teacher at the former Canonsburg Hugh School guuded the Com mercual Club for fourteen years As Canonsburg Cecul and North Strabane louned to offer more advantages to students Muss Neush became head of the Busuness Department of the new Canon McMullan Jount Senuor Hugh School and sponsor of uts Commercual Club Crea tuve energetuc and fun lovung Muss Neush gauned the respect of Canon McMullan students Establushung a Busuness Machunes Class at Canonsburg Hugh School became Muss Neushs goal un 1946 Com mercual Club gurls under her guudance worked to earn the necessary funds needed to purchase expensuve busu ness machunes to establush and expand a busuness machunes class Recognuzung the fine work of the club the Board of Educatuon agreed to match the funds roused by the club each year Durung a fourteen year peruod Muss Neush s efforts resulted un S16 000 worth of busuness machunes purchased for the class The addu tuonal traunung un the use of busuness machunes helped students to gaun more easuly ummeduate employment after graduatuon from hugh school Wuth respect and apprecuatuon we deducate the 1960 ELMANAC to Vera Leone Neush for her unspurung leader shup guudance and numerous contrubutuons to school and communuty I I .
