Students diligently worked to achieve the perfection, the agility, and show-business manner which gave the performance a professional quality. The various fields of talent, the precise timing of each dancing step, the skillful touch of mastered fingers on the keyboard ofthe Baby Grand, the lively and vigorous beat of modern music, and the beautiful and colorful costumes made the Talent Show a huge success. Wasn't I supposed to do that? l Aunt Augusta, SI5,000l SENIOR CLASS PRESENTED Down to Earth, a fonatasy of three acts, proved an entertaining comedy presented by the Senior Class. Written by Betty Knapp, the play delved into the hilar- ious and eventful happenings encountered by a money- conscious family who, unknowingly, receive a visit from three angels. Two outstanding performances for students and public displayed the cast's skill in memorizing lines, learning stage positions, acquiring proper diction, mas- tering timing, and overcoming stage fright. Directed by Mr. Bethem, the cast skillfully presented Down to Earth in a professional manner. . . . poor Diana is dead. Just one more gulpl Sorry, I missed the couch! I'm partial to redheads.
