Members of the House of Representatives present them- selves to Mr. Robert Leventhal, sponsor of House, each Tuesday in the auditorium, ready to represent their friends and classmates in student government. Why do these fine Hunters attend House meetings so conscientiously? For two simple reasons: QU to take an active part in student gov- ernment and QZJ to get out of class. House members are elected in English, U.S. History, Government, and Senior Problems classes at the beginning of each semester. One reward for the hours they spend in this extra curricular activity is a point towards Gold C credit. Carol Jones, affairs vice-president, presided over the House and Brice Potthoff was voted Outstanding House Member. The Student Body Cabinet administers the student activities and the by-laws in such a way as to contribute to the Well being of the school. They promote school spirit, providing leadership and unity throughout the student body. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Leventhal, Cabinet meets daily in room 206 during fifth period.
