I, Dorothy Jenkins, do hereby will and bequeath my seat in public speaking to Margaret Lewis and hope she will enjoy it as much as I have. I, Mary Propst, do hereby will and bequeath my two and one-half inches over fiv e feet to Margaret King so she may be five feet two and half inches tall. I, Buddy Mundy, do hereby will and bequeath mytitle as the best-looking boy in the Senior Class to any Junior boy interested. I, Mary Frances Bassinger, do hereby will and bequeath my seat in Norris Dearmon ' s car to Ruby Lowder, my fondness of olives and doughnuts to Elizabeth Smith, and my love of Glenn Miller’s orchestra to Herman Hudspeth. I, Nell Price, do hereby will and bequeath my love of having a good time to Faynell Coley, hoping that she will enjoy her Senior year as much as I, and to Mary Lee Tesh and Opal Munday my seat in bookkeeping. I, Earl Correll, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to squirt water to Fredrick Glass. I, Marvoureen Puntch, do hereby will and bequeath my honor as cutest girl in the Senior Class, to Mary Levine Alexander, knowing that she deserves it more than I do. I, Frances Scarboro, do hereby will and bequeath my third period office job to Helen Harrington and hope she enjoys it as much as I have. I, Virginia Hartness, do hereby will and bequeath my seat at the piano to an up-coming Freshman, K. Lee Scott, hoping she will find it more comfortable than I did. She may also have my vestment, and I hope that she will get to wear it more than I did. I, Vessie Mae Chapman, do hereby will and bequeath my seat in algebra class to my younger brother, Ira, hoping that he will not be forced to occupy it as long as I did. I, Dorothy Pethel, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to have a good time during my Senior year to Norris Dearmon, hoping that he may have a better time (if that is possible). I, Cliff Fowler, do hereby wi ll and bequeath my ability to stay out of love to Violet Blackwelder and Willie Green Belk, hoping they will take advantage of it. I, Hoyle McCombs, do hereby will and bequeath my love for bookkeeping to Harold Puntch. I, Helen Towell, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to talk in Study Hall along with my good times in the past year, to my Freshman sister. Ruby Towell, hoping she will love Cannon High as well as I. I, Murray Jackson, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to insult Mrs. Neal and my affection for under- graduates (Freshmen especially) to Billy Robertson (although he needs neither). I, Shirley Tate, do hereby will and bequeath my blushing ability to Beulah Tate and Varina Barts, hoping it will not embarrass them as much as it has me. I, Elizabeth Smith, do hereby will and bequeath my old brown and white saddle shoes to Ruby Childers. “Now, Ruby, you had better keep them real white and don’t run the heels over, for I am entrusting them to you, so please don’t abuse them.” I, Hughlene Goodnight, do hereby will and bequeath my seat in the auditorium to Harold Barringer since he had to stand up practically all this year. Also my seat in the Glee Club to “Dot” Cadell. I, Leota Crenshaw, do hereby will and bequeath my column, “Campus Camera,” to my sister, Betty Sue, hoping that she can make it more interesting than I did. I, Bryant Allman, Jr., do hereby will and bequeath my ability to listen to symphonies to Frank Perry. I, Lillian Cassell, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to finish high school in four years to my brother, Charlie. I, Janis Dawn Day vault do hereby will and bequeath my dimples to my sister, Juanita, hoping that she will carry my smile on through her years in Cannon High, and my very best wishes to Cannon High and the on- coming Senior Class. I, Jack “Gob” Scarboro, do hereby will and bequeath my ability to get along with Miss Alexander to Bill Byrd, seeing that he needs it. I, Ruby Morgan, do hereby will and bequeath my long fingernails to Dorothy Hampton, hoping that she will not bite them off as she does her own. I, Lois Gray, do hereby will and bequeath my seat in chapel to Garland “Gabby” Donaldson, hoping he will get to use it some day. I. Dorothy Walters, do hereby will and bequeath my height to Frances Daves, hoping that with her own and mine she will be quite a moderate young girl.
