The following students were elected our class officers: President-Carroll Ray Clark, Vice-President-Carolyn Wint, Secretary-Judy Dutschke, Treasurer-Sharon Powers, Historian-Wanda Rudolph. Judy Dutschke, Carolyn Reed, and Mary K. Bauer were freshman cheerleaders. Our football candidates were Janice Kincaid and Judy Dutschke . Carolyn Wint and Sally Jo Winchell were elected basketball candidates. The Scholarship awards were awarded to Selma Bubenzer and Jim Fiedler. Bobby Olberding received the athletic award. Miss Mabel Damm and Mr. John Lloyd were class sponsors. Our Student Council representatives were Janice Kincaid, Bobby Olberding, and Carroll Ray Clark. Beginning our second year, 5U silly sophomores enrolled at Cannelton High. We elected the following class officers: President- Carroll Ray Clark, Vice President-Josephine McMannaway. Secretary-Sharon Powers, Treasurer-Stephen Hess, Historian-Wanda Rudolph. Football candidates this year were Nancy Mullen and Josephine McMannaway. Carolyn Wint and Josephine McMannaway were chosen basketball candidates. Our Student Council representatives were Carolyn Rutherford. Bobby Olberding aid Carroll Ray Clark. Mr. Hafele and Mr. Ramsey were our class sponsors. We had ten students who came to Cannelton this year from Troy High School. Those students at Troy who held offices, student council members or basketball candidate were: Steve Hess-President (Freshman Class)0 Secretary-Nancy Mullen, Student Council member-Josephine McMannaway, Nancy Mullen was also freshman cheerleader and basketball candidate. At last we were upper classmen. The junior class this fall was made up of 1+6 Jolly juniors. We elected the following class officers: President-Bob Olberding, Vice President-Carroll Ray '-lark, Secretary-Sharon Powers, Treasurer-Mary K. Bauer, Historian-Margaret Weatherholt. Junior football candidates were Judy Dutschke and Mary K. Bauer. Basketball candidates were Selma Bubenzer and Mary K. Bauer. Carroll Ray Clark was one of the Varsity cheerleaders. Those participating in the All School Play were Jack Boyce, Sharon Powers, Harold Lathorn and Kenneth McCallister. Student Council members were Judy Dutschke. Ricky Snyder and Bob Olberding. Carroll Ray Clark was our drum major this year. We are proud to say Carroll Ray won second in the National Baton Twirling contest. Our sponsors this year were Mr. Smith and Mrs. Lowe. We presented the Junior-Senior prom this year. Our theme was Twilight Time . The prom was held at the Tell City Moose Home. Finally came the most important year of all. Thirty-seven dignified Seniors came to complete their high school careers. At our first class meeting we elected: President-Jim Fiedler, Vice President-Carroll Ray Clark, Secretary-Carolyn Rutherford, Treasurer-Janice Kincaid, Historian-Margaret Weatherholt. Pamela Crawley was crowned football queen and Judy Dutschke was maid of honor. Our basketball queen was Nancy Mullen and Susie Gaynor was maid of honor. Varsity cheerleaders included Nancy Mullen and Judy Dutschke. Nancy Mullen, Ricky Snyder and Jim Fiedler were our student council members. Our class sponsors were Mr. Alley and Mr. Hafele. Our class flower is the carnation. Powder blue and white are our colors and our motto is Today you are making tomorrows memories .
