Class Prophesy As I gaze into my crystal ball, I see we are in 1967. I’ll look closer and see what has happened to the thirty-four dignified seniors in the past 10 years. Bill Samplev is still having trouble with his car. It didn’t take long to find the trouble at r.arl shau'a garage. Carl just raised the radiator cap and drove a new car under it. Virginia Lee rjiancelor is hopping along with Hopalong Cassidy on their jointly owned ranch out West. They are famous for their two-tailed cows. It is reported that Chois Poehlein. the mad trombonist, is driving the kats wild at Birdland, in New York City. Alice Schurtter finally got in cahoots with the Donkey-Democrats. She has just finished a book entitled The Lies of the Democrat Party and the Truth That is Never Told.Charles teddy Bear Seibert is the sole owner of the Seibert Teddvbear Factory in Japan. Margie Shown is number-one knife sharpener at the Kill“-Em Dead Hospital located near Cliff Cemetery. Floyd Satchimo Freeman is now residing in Pinky’s Alley in New Orleans. He has just returned from a trip to Tell City in his Flying Nash . I see that Joan Stith finally got her hearts desire,a job as a beautician for Lassie and Rin-Tin-Tin. Carl Duple Elder is now a great American scientist .Carl just invented a new radio-active kicker bomb to keep the students at CHS awake during classes. Loren Speed Demon Harding is quite famous around the speedways these days. He is always out in front to see who’s ahead. Curtis Tate, the great motorcycle king, still lead his fleet of Speeding Snails from crash to hospital.Liz Polk and Ottls Hale feel like detectives these days. They really have a job taking care of their eighteen children Jack Spencer, the local disk-jockey over W.T.C.J., is turning out those cool sounds daily. As he says, man it's really the hammers to the slammers. Carl Pee Wee Ace Paulin took over.the position of head bell boy down at the end of lonely street at the Sunlight Hotel.lt seems that he became heartbroken after the State Highway Department moved Derby to California. Dorris Holland is in strong competition with Peggy Fiedler these days. They are trying to see which one can recruit the most members for an old maid’s club. Dorris is in the lead but I’m sure that Peggy’s old friends on Deer Creek won’t let her down. Jon Harper really looks snappy with his long beard. He has been trying to shave for the past fifteen years and cut himself all fifteen times. Stu Walls has his own passenger plane that makes daily flights between Cannelton and Hawesville. Pat Wint. stewardess, had so much trouble with cars and cops that she just rides in planes now. Darrel Seibert is operating at the site of Nu-Way cleaners. Each Friday and Saturday he has a special on leaving more dirt in the clothes than he takes out. Kay Gilbert recently appeared on the TV show Win or Else .She lectured students on how to salvage ooints on government tests. She has been noted for this ability for some time.Clarence Richards has finally over come his bashfulness after all these years. He now has a harem of forty beautiful women and all the grapes he can eat. Chester Mathena has been awarded a fleet of radio-equiped cars by the Starlite Drive-In Theater. He was the only boy who could announce the right movie at the wrong time. Linda Taylor is in strong competition with Mr. John Malcomson these days. Linda owns a Super-Dooper Department Store in Rocket City, Mars. Larry Reed is often seen standing on Lyon’s corner. Since he is married, he is his old Self again.The world famous Bill Wagr.er is now coach of the Shooting Infants. Linda Irvin and Carol Seibert, talented big mouths of all time, make up his cheering section. The report has leaked out that Lewis Play Boy Snyder mentally ill nuclear physicist, has escaped again. It seems Lew went off his rocker shortly after discovering the W Bomb. Ralph Crazylegs McIntyre won the college allstar championship again. He made the twenty-five yard dash in five steps. Willie Chief Downs is head of the Cha-Cha-Cha Indian Reservation. Denny Huber seems to be giving Gene Krupa a rough time in a battle for the world’s champion drummer. 15
