I, Martin Morris, will my sore shoulders and all the black and blue places to David Adams. Jearl has sure got a crushing right. I, Irene May, will my.laugh to my sister, Margaret. I, Clara Northenor, will my ability to keep quiet in government class to anyone who thinks I did. I, Richard Oldfield, will my ability to get out of work to the Mayor of Mule Holler, Forrest hawhee. I, Bob Paulin, will my nickname''Flash toAlbertKratzer. It fits you nicely, Albert. I, Shirley Sapp, will my ability to tell jokes to Dorris Holland. Carry on, Dorris. I, Betty Lou Seifert, will my job at the school cafeteria to my sister, Wanda. May it keep you out of mischief. I, Jay Schroeder, will my fast starts and slow finishes in track to Norman Lain. I, Audrey Shellenberger, will my ability at being able to tend to my own business to Henry Mogan. You sure need it, Henry. I, Patsy Sinclair, will my position as class secretary to Margaret Rudolph. I hope you can get more out of your meetings than I did. I, Charles Skinner, will my way3 with the girls to Denny Huber. Don't let me down. I, Mary Rita Smallwood, hereby bequeath the red hair willed to me in 1954 to Daisy Sinclair. This is the one color I haven't tried, Daisy. Good luck. I, Patricia Snyder, will my walk to Sandy Braun. Class History In September, 1951, forty-three students were enrolled in C. H. S. At our first class meeting the following officers were elected: Patricia Snyder, president; David Huber, vice-president; Ruthann Borich, secretary; Mary Rita Smallwood, treasurer; and Donnie Allen, historian. Our sponsor was Mr. Russell Clements Student Council representatives were Mary Avis Irvin and Norman Herzog. Zorita DeJarnette, Mary Etta Morris, Pat Snyder, and Mary Rita Smallwood were freshman cheerleaders. Richard Oldfield was in the cast of the all school play. David Huber won the activities award, Jay Schroeder won the athletic award, and Pat Snyder and David Huber won the scholastic awards. Thus our days as green freshman were ended. Our enrollment as sophomores was lowered to forty-one students. Our sponsors were Mr. Dean Butler and Miss Ruth Baynes. Class officers were as follows: David Huber, president; Jane Lee Bolin, vice-president; Gretchen Swain, secretary; Mary Rita Smallwood, treasurer; and Loretta Harding, historian. Student Council representatives were Jane Lee Bolin and Norman Herzog. David Huber, Richard Oldfield, Mary Etta Morris, Pat Snyder Audrey Shellenberger, and Gretchen Swain were in the cast of the all school play. We ordered our class rings and jackets this year. Thirty-seven students were enrolled as juniors. Donnie Allen, Patsy Sinclair, Loretta Harding, and Norman Herzog were the Student Council representatives. Class sponsors were Mr. Foster Park, Miss Ada McDonnall, and Mr. Guy Mahan. Class officers were as follows: DonnieAllen, president; J. C. Basham, vice-president; Patsy Sinclair, secretary; Mary Rita Smallwood, treasurer; and Loretta Harding, historian. This year we were hosts to the seniors at the Junior-Senior Prom, which was held at the Hoosier Heights Country Club. The theme of the prom was Moulin Rouge. Mary Avis Irvin was our representative to Girl's State and David Huber to Boy's State. Their trips were sponsored by the American Legionand theAuxiliary. Pat Snyder was the recipient of the Kiwanis Award. DonnieAllen, David Huber, Richard Oldfield, Mary Avis Irvin, and Pat Snyder were in the all school play. Thirty-one students returned for the final and most exciting year of all—our senior year. Mrs. Mildred Vaughn and Mr. Edgar Etienne were chosen to be our class sponsors. Jearl Ballow was elected president; Donnie Allen, vice-president; Patsy Sinclair, secretary; Mary Rita Smallwood, treasurer; and Loretta Harding, historian. Student Council representatives were Jearl Ballow, Stanley Sutton, Jane Lee Bolin, and Loretta Harding. Patricia Snyder was again elected varsity cheerleader this year by popular vote. Jane Lee Bolin was chosen basketball queen, and Patricia Snyder was our football queen. Under the direction of Mrs. Vaughn, the senior play, Professor-How Could You was presented. Those in the cast were: Richard Oldfield, Patricia Snyder Robert Paulin, Jane Lee Bolin, David Huber, Mary Avis Irvin, Clara Northenor, DonnieAllen, Norman Herzog, Shirley Sapp, and three children, Laura Vitelli, Ernie Snyder, and Jerry Clements. Itwas a huge success and was presented again at Troy, Indiana. Thisyearwe were guests of the juniors at the Junior-Senior Prom. Jay Schroeder and Irene May were crowned prom king and queen. We chose gold and white as our senior colors, and yellow roses as our class flower. We went to Chicago for four days for our senior trip. It was a wonderful experience and with this event our high school days were thus ended.

In a recent nation wide poll it was found that Frankie Baby Face Bolin' has been elected the greatest lover in motion pictures since the days of Marlon Brando. George Stanley Hell Driver” Sutton just crashed at the 500 Mile Speedway Race. His only injury was a mashed big toe. Pfc. Martin Richard Morris was recently awarded the Bronze Star by General of the Army Jearl E. Ballow. Pfc. 's courageous deed was jumping from an airplane in order to save his buddy, Charles Skinner, whose parachute failed to open. Our readers will be relieved to know that Martin landed on his head thus escaping injury. Misses Patricia Snyder, Jane Lee 3oltn, and Irene May are now featured in an unlimited engagement at the Chez Paree in Chicago, Illinois. Their exotic floor show and strip tease originated in Room 1055 at the Sherman Hotel on the senior trip. After a long hard rise to the top of the theatrical world, Richard C. Oldfield has been acclaimed the world's greatest director, producer, and playwright. He recently won the Pulitzer Prize for his superb play, Professor, You Did It . Marion Dixon and Robert Flash Paulir. now own the newly built gambling casino, The Plugged Nickel. Their chief claim to fame is their underhanded dealiags in Black Jack and Seven Card Draw. Mary Avis Irvin just lost her sixth music teaching job in six years for allowing her music students is study hall to enjoy certain privileges such as drinking cokes, taking naps, and having jaui sessions. She is now in Greenwich Village preparing for a concert tour to Lower Slobbovia. Juanita Skeeter Kratzer has just won the world’s heavyweightchan.pionship bout by beating Rocky Marciano. Rocky never had a chauce. Shirley Daum has been appointed the chief tester of the I. M. Sharp Tack Factory. She acquired her skill in government class. An intimate friend of J. C. Basham, Presidentof Kroger Company of America, has disclosed that J. C. is going to fight a duel with the president of the A. and P. for making slanderous remarks about Krogers. After 10 years of sereae marriage Harry and Birdie Lain now have a cozy ne3t full of little hairy birdies. Miss Loretta Harding now holds the distinguished position of stewardess on the President's private plane, The Dirty Bird. Gur readers will be interested to know that the pilot is another graduate of C. K. S., Major Jam.es Melvin Schroeder. He gained experience in searing to great altitudes while pole vaulting at C. H. S. Nit King Herzog, who is world famous for his out of this world cornet style, is now playing an engagement at the Flying Saucer on Mars. Miss Shirley Sapp, who holds the unusual position of vocal and physical education teacher at A. B. C. H. S. in Indianapolis, has become famous for teaching her students to sing while swinging from a trapeze. Miss Betty Freeman is now head nurse at the Bring-em-Back-Alive Hospital at Pellville, Ky. Living proof of the effectiveness of Nurse Clara Northenor's famous discovery, Go Grow Hormones, is Patsy Sinclair, who has now attained the height of 6 feet. The former Miss Audrey Shellenberger, the faithful wife of Albert fer the past 10 years, has just given birth to her 12th little Harpe. Audrey tells us that they are often a little out of tune. Miss Betty Lou Seifert ha3 just won the grand prize at the State Fair for her atomic devil's food cake. The judges got quite a bang out of it.
