FIRST ROW: Tommy Reynolds, Dwain Love, Mildred Mogan, Sarah Moore, Dolores Gaymor, Mary Nell Minto, Wanda Harding, Betty Geer. SECOND ROW: Vencil Varble, John Ham, Miss NinabellC Hurt-sponsor, Donna Lorenz, Emory Yaggi. The Notlennac Staff is chosen each fall to publish the yearbook. This year Miss Ninabelle Hurt was selected to supervise the staff. Wanda Harding was chosen editor and Tommy Reynolds was chosen as associate editor. The work was then divided among the staff. Tommy had charge of the division and title pages. John Ham was selected as advertising manager with Emory Yaggi and Charles Mattingly as his assistants. Dolores Gaynor had charge as business manager with Mary Nell Minto as her assistant. Mary Nell also had charge of snapshots. Dwain Love acted as sports editor, Sarah Moore as society editor, and Mildren Mogan as literary editor. Donna Lorenz was underclass editor and also had charge of the dedication page. Betty Geer was assistant underclass editor. The senior division was handled by Vencil Varble. The staff met every activity period with Miss Hurt, the supervisor. The staff has endeavored to produce an annual you will enjoy and treasurer in later years. 26

SECOND ROW; Betty Snyder, Sam Baker, Sarah Moore, John Lee Conway, Gloria Ramsey, Anna Mae Mitchell, Miss Carolyn Hudson-sponsor, and Dolores Gaynor. Each year a group of students is chosen to publish the school paper. This year the staff is under the direction of Miss Carolyn Hudson, The staff includes one freshman, one sophomore, six juniors, and seven seniors. The Hi-Life is published every two weeks. The purpose of the Girl’s Athletic Association is to advance good sportsmanship, school spirit, and co-operation. The G.A.A. is very active during the school year. It sponsors a basketball tourney once a year, dances, and other activities. The requirements are to be in high school, take part in initiation, and have a grade average of “C”or above. Miss Ninabelle Hurt is sponsor.
