Charlie May—Has purchased all rights to the “Charles Atlas” he-man courses and changed the name to “Atlas May’s.” Women faint and desert their husbands when they see pictures of “Cocky” on muscle-building advertisements. Wyvonne Posey—Author of hook entitled “How To Get Along With People.” Living life of luxury after selling a thousand copies to Elinor Jean Keiser, wife of the noted Jesse Glenn, after their recent separation. After reading Wyvonne’s hook, Elinor is convinced she has been in the wrong and is ready to go back to Jesse. Charlie Paulin — Succeeded “Buddy” Young as America’s fastest football player. This isn't the Charlie Paulin that we knew back in ’47. Ida Mae Sweeney—After completing a course in Evansville College, she returned to Cannelton to settle down on St. Louis Avenue. Need we say more? Bob Jones—Has retired after winning world wide fame bv scoring 172 points against Notre Dame in a Notre Dame—Podunk Basketball game. Boh entered Podunk University after graduating from C. H. S. Ida Mae Freeman—Spending her honeymoon in Mexico after her marriage to Clifford Mosby. Maytha Schurtter—Running for president on independent ticket. Proposes the adoption of an amendment giving women control of the government and changing the bill of rights to read “for women only.” Eloise Burton—Was mistaken for a runaway native girl that had fallen heir to the crown and sent by authorities to the Pugooto Islands where she reigns as queen. Kenneth Ramsey—After several years of study at Millstone Engineering University introduced to the public for the first time in history an atom powered rocket ship. Mr. Ramsey could not be reached to make a statement since he is on an extended journey to the moon. Ann Sterett—Wife of the manager of the world’s largest chain of hotels. Said to be worth several billion. Marguerite IIeck—Famous singer, starred in Ziegfeld Follies of 1957. Carolyn Birchler—After touring the country in search of a girls’ college situated conveniently close to a boys’ school, she finally gave up and returned to Indiana. Discovering that “Rusty” had taken over “her man,” she moved to the hills of Kentucky where she now resides. Bill Conner—Now mayor of our city. It is rumored that the general public will demand a new election next fall on the grounds that Bill squandered public funds for monuments dedicated to himself and his friends. Thelma Kendall—Basketball coach at Bosse High School in Evansville. Derreli. Zellers and C. W. Gottman— Proprietors of the world’s largest laundry. Centrally located with daily helicopter pickups, it serves the entire United States. Doris Daum—Aeronautical instructor for “Dauin Air Lines.” She has instructed such celebrities as ex-ballet dancer Nina Zellers and play girl Mary Frances Adams. Bobby Huff—Has taken Senator Claghorn’s place on Fred Allen’s Radio program. Kenny Delmar gladly surrendered his position when he heard Bobby’s voice. John D. Groves—Owner of Circle C. Ranch in Southern Texas. John almost lost his life recently when hired help mistook him for one of the West’s badmen and tried to ambush him. He was saved however when Ivan Bryant, his faithful friend and foreman of the ranch, intervened and introduced him to the boys as their boss and not the “Terror Kid.” Jean Ramsey—Married to her “ideal man, the preacher’s son. At present she is assisting her beloved in his missionary work in South Africa. Charlie Hall—Is now President of the Zanol Products Company. He started out as district salesman and steadily ascended the ladder of success until he attained the high position that he now holds. Betty Northenor and Bobby Mogan— Operators of a modern beauty salon in Hollywood. Immediately after the opening of this shop Gene and Chris purchased a gas station in the same block . . . “And they lived happily ever after.” Rosemary Gunn—Attained world wide fame when quintuplets were born to her and Ralph Weatherholt. Albert Parks—Warden at Boys Reform School in Plainfield. Indiana. He worked his way up after being convicted of operating a radio transmitting station without a license. Dorothy Dunn—Secretary to an executive of a large New York concern. She locks her four little Arnolds in the closet in her office during work hours. Ruthif. Hay—Star of the modern version of the show “Forever Amber.” Joe Van Conia—Now holds the positions of dog catcher, peace-officer, and street cleaner of Rome, Indiana. Mary Ahrens and Melba Maxey— Owners and operators of “Zippo Reducing School,” of Needless, Nebraska. Red Anderson—Replaced Charlie McCarthy on Edgar Bergen show.
