CLASS PROPHECY Statistical survey of C.H.S. graduates of 1946 compiled by TROTTER Pole. INC., in the year 1 956. Edward Bush—-Now Professor Edward Allen Bush—dean of Plainfield School for Boys. Shanty Rutherford and Glennie Glenn— Proprietors of a well-known restaurant in Cannelton. This establishment was given them due to their friendship with the former proprietor. Dorothy Lee Bolin—Beautiful blonde model in the snappy style shoppe in Deer Creek, Indiana. Ruth Virginia Sixx and Iva Jean Storm— Two of the world’s celebrated ballet dancers. Ray Ham—Has become superintendent of Cannelton High School and National President of Hi-Y. Mary Jo Miller and Frankie Sanders— Abiding in their country estate in Mule Holler. Nettie Yoho—Principal of a beautician school in New York. Carl Fuchs is janitor of the same school. He took this job only to be near Nettie. Ernest Graybill—Editor of his own newspaper called “The Graybill Quack.” Earl Ahl—Owner of a night-club called The Silver Slipper. Henrietta Neyen-haus is featured as a blues singer in this club. Yvonne Weatherholt—Lion tamer in Bar-num-Bailey circus. Lois Thiry is bareback rider in another branch of the circus. Guyneil Ramsey—Present-day Evangelist and one of the world's best-known ministers. Betty Jane Mitchell—Has just received the title Miss America of 1956.” Kenneth Smallwood—-Sole owner of the Sewer Pipe Company given to him in reward for ten years’ faithful service as window washer. Frances Mogan—Famous authoress now giving lectures all over the country on How to Win Contests.” Corkey Bolin—Editor of the Hobo News. Raymond Hufnagel and Edna Moore— Famous dance team now appearing in Chicago. J. C. Lillpop—Controls the greatest ax handle market in the United States. Robert Whitehead—Hermit just off Times Square. James Hay—Leader of an orchestra called Haymakers.” Leona Ruth Mogan—Owner of a chain of stationery shops. We suppose her inspiration came from operating the C.H.S. bookstore. Joe Hafele—Has replaced Roy Acuff on Grand Ole Opry and is Governor of Tennessee. Mae Young—Representative in Congress now serving her second term. Andy Hall—Coach of a girls' professional volleyball club. Burton Harlen—Famous F.B.I. detective. He trained himself for this position in Mr. Dauby’s civics class. Mary Lou Carter—Proud mother of six healthy little Carl Juniors. Carl Champion—Operator of a so-called Charm-Kurl beauty shop in Millstone. Ind. Beverly Sheldon—Serving a term as secretary of state. Floyd Clements—Joe Louis' closest rival. Mary Young—Still collecting diamonds. Garnet Burns—Wife of Rear Admiral Grossman. Garnet is doing wonderfully as a movie directress. Arthur Adams—Poultryman who has recently developed a strain of three-legged chickens. Billy Hendrick — Married to Betty Jo Franzman. Mr. and Mrs. Hendrick are now traveling with a flea circus. Gilda May—Physical education teacher in Cannelton High School. Billy Zellers—Succeeded Van Johnson and is now leading star of Hollywood. Sammie Connor—Owner of a ranch in Montana. Margaret Coyle—Cigarette girl in the famous Hotel de Ville in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Robert Groves-—Working in the paper clip factory. Tommy Minto—Pilot of Kentuckiana Air Lines and makes weekly flights to Cannelton, Rome, Tobinsport. Gerald, and Derby. Lucille Goffinet—Head nurse at the Louisville insane hospital. Aldon Perkins — Salesman traveling through Kentucky selling toothpicks. Jim Morris—Human torpedo in Morris Brothers' Circus. Russel Franzman — National Miniature golf champion.
