FORWARD Now, approaching graduation, the class of 1953 feels both sadness and humility—sadness because we are leaving all these good times and wonderful friends, and humility because we realize what a tiny part of this huge world we are. At times, each of us has felt discouraged and overburdened with the responsibilities of high school years. However, uniting our efforts, we have tried to make this book, a record of the past four years, represent the cherished memories gained at C. C. S. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy it. ALMA MATER Oh, chant out the song of C.A. Sing the glory that is ners today. The triumph of might against might Tells whicn color wins tne fight. Oh, long may her great emblem wave 'Tis the symbol of the staunch, the true, the brave, The Red and the White may they wave Victorious, victorious, o'er us forever. Though far o'er this world we may stray We shall never forget old C.A. The scenes that today we hold dear Shall come back to us through the years. Oh, long may her great emblem wave 'Tis the symbol of the staunch, the true, the brave, The Red and the White may they wave Victorious, victorious, o'er us forever. 2
