FORWARD Now, approaching graduation, the class of 1953 feels both sadness and humility—sadness because we are leaving all these good times and wonderful friends, and humility because we realize what a tiny part of this huge world we are. At times, each of us has felt discouraged and overburdened with the responsibilities of high school years. However, uniting our efforts, we have tried to make this book, a record of the past four years, represent the cherished memories gained at C. C. S. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy it.
