CLASS POEM Dear Freshmen: Welcome, Freshmen to Senior High, No more time for days gone by. And though you may be considered small, We promise you’ll soon be Seniors tall. If you work hard, you'll reach your goal; After all, we were Freshmen once you know. Dear Sophomores: Sophomore friend you're getting older, But that's no sign of getting bolder. Remember always your Sophomore Hop, Because in memory it’ll be on top. All these things, and many more. Will pass you through the Sophomore door. Dear Juniors: Gosh, you've almost reached the door As the senior class of fifty-four. Though these days will come and go Faster than you will ever know. We wish all the luck you may possess From these wonderful Halls of C. C. S. Dear Teachers: To the kindest, most understanding people we know, We're sorry to say we have to go. But when in memory we’ve returned, We'll realize how much we have learned From you who taught us and you yourselves With little use of the books on the shelves. Dear Classmate: There is a saying which everyone knows. And this is similar to the way it goes; Time has come when friends must part, We all must admit, it touches the heart. And with these many days gone by To some it means tears, to others a sigh. Oh! there are many things I wish to say. But gosh, it would really take all day. So here's to all the fun we've had. And even the time we all were bad. The very best in all vou do, Remember your Alma Mater true. Now, as I wish you all a so-long, My heart will ring out the old school song. And may I be bold enough to say, We’re not little lambs wrro have lost our way. 6
