Who cares what Latin is on Shrove Tuesday when the entire school takes time off before the solemn season of Lent to relax. And you do. Maybe you are half-drowned in the pool or beaned with a handball. What does it matter for it is all in fun and fun for all. After it is all over, there is only one question that puzzles you. Why isn't every Tuesday Shrove Tuesday? ai, .1 27

February: Well you survived the first term exams so you finally begin to feel at home and you sense that you belong at Canisius. Along with that feeling goes a greater appreciation for the teachers with whom you have been working since September. You realize that all the faculty members, whatever their physical appearance or teaching methods or courses, are sincerely interested in you. When you begin to respond to that interest you have begun the most enoyable and educational phase of your stay here at Canisius. :- Peter Crotty, Prefidcnt Charles Juhasz, ViccfPrc.i-idwzt Paul Michalsl-ii, Secretary john Strauss, Treamrer i Ffont row: R. April: The classes on the Delaware Avenue side of the school watch the grass turn green. The warm breezes blowing make life indoors a little intolerable. But you keep your spirits high for on a day in the middle of April, you dash through the oak doors to a welcome Spring vacation and Easter. The dreary days of winter are over and for ten days or so you can relax and regroup your forces for the Final push to the end of the year.
