In Confirmation we be- came spiritually eligible for training as active knights or soldiers of Christ. Here at Canisius we received that training in all its phases- spiritualg scholasticf athletic-so that we could serve Him better in adult lye. Canisius has been for us the arena in which we cru- saders have exercised ourselves and made ourselves strong in souL mind and body. Since our training during these years has been ded- icated to the service of Our Lord it is fitting that the account of these years recorded here in the pages of the Arena should likewise be dedicated to Christ, the King.
