di ation We, the Senior Class of l955, sincerely dedicate our Azuwur to Reverend Terence J. Fitzsimmons, S.J. His guiding hand and staunch support in the classrooms, in the lively corridors, in his office, or in the yearbook sanc- tum have inspired loyalty in every Senior student of the Ca- nisius family. As a Jesuit, Priest, and Professor, he has enlightened us, the students. As Assistant Student Counselor, his basement office is frequently visited by students for guidance in spir- itual and personal matters. One need only ask the pupils of Father Fitz in order to hear appreciative praise of his in- teresting and practical lectures in philosophy. Suggestions and words of advice spoken in a friendly, sincere manner as Moderator of the Senior Class have en- abled us to accomplish our task. Father Terence J. Fitzsimmons, S.J. has crystallized the salt of the earth, and because of this we offer him our gratitude. 13
