To improve the Cardinal's journalism standards. columns. timely editorials, features and news items were contributed by reporters as a service to Canfield School as well as to the community. Several members of the staff attended the Ohio University journalism Workshop for high school publications. A highlight of the year was a luncheon at the Parkview House honoring Miss Verda Evans. supervisor of English in Cleveland Schools.
