JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL Candor VanEtten Candor Tioga Center Nichols Newfield Spencer VanEtten Tioga Center Nichols Newfield Spencer VanEtten Tioga Center Nichols Newfield Spencer Playoff This year's Varsity found themselves in the un usual situation of having only one returning player from the previous year's team with such a tremend ous lack of experienced material, many boys who need ed one and even two more years of J V experience, had to be moved up to the varsity squad As a result Candor had to floor the youngest and most inexoerienc in IUS history, but also one of its best ed team The boys worked hard and improved very fast s they endedthe season with a 13 to 2 record in second place The team was in contention for the championship until the very last game of the season Candor then entered the sectional playoffs and was upset in a double over time thriller by Spencer The prospects for next year look very good as all of this year's squad except two will be returning Absent: M.
