ABOVE: A fine example of the organization that went on in our room. We really had a lot of fun designing this 1975-1976 an- nual for you to enjoy and recall good times in high school. We are leaving a lot of fond memories behind in the Lancer Room. Some of them for, Kim DeBlois and Sharon Swenson, our Junior Editors to enjoy. We would like to thank them for the year we were able to laugh, act crazy, and work with. We also wish them the best of luck next year in their goal as Senior Editors to make a successful annual. There are a lot of Thank You's we would like to express. First to Ms Dahlager, thank you for keeping us going throughout the year. And thanks for all those passes you wrote out for us so that we could work during our open mods. And thanks to you Mr. Tobin for helping us get times lined up to take pictures. Also a special thanks to Mr. Undemann for making all those pictures and put- ting up with our crazy sizes and ideas for pictures. Also thank you Mr. Lindemann for coming up so often to take pictures when we really didn't know what kind of pictures we wanted taken. Thank you students who helped I. D. all those unfamiliar and familiar faces and then typing all those names up-even though the type- writers didn't spell too well all the time. We would also like to thank the photo kids and Mr. Wilde for making pictures for us. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say Hello and give us advice while we were working. We appreciate the change in pace from making lay- outs, gluing, cutting, sizing and I. D. -ing pictures. It helps a lot to see a head pop in the door and say Hi and ask how thinks are coming along. We hope you enjoy your annual and appreciate all the work we have put into it. Lancer Editors Belinda and Sandy Jl ATHLETICS Girls Sports Are Successful And Fun Cheerleaders: P. Kack, M. Oellien, D. Then came Thursday night, we all had the jitters. Soon we calmed down enough to walk up with our partners. Our master of ceremonies, Bob Erickson, kept us laughing, it calmed us down a great deal. Last year's queen, Cindy Miller gave her farewell speech. Then the big moment, suspense, excite- ment, and silence. Cindy put the robe on my shoulders, joy, happiness, and unbelief filled me. Then the guys lined up and John Myers was chosen King. After we were crowned, the letterman presented me with roses and I recieved an autographed football from the team. The dance was held on Saturday night. We ended our home- coming activities by listening to Zacharia . Each year the comation ceremony changes. But one thing remains that some lucky girl is super happy. This time that girl was me. Queen Julie ABOVE: Members of the royalty. MIDDLE: Crownbearers; Karrie Hanson and Todd Paulson. Each day we dressed according to the theme for that day. Then came Thursday night and everyone was excited, but I think the candidates were mostly scared. On Friday we faced Granite Falls and they were tough. It didn't help our season's record much but we tried out best. I want to thank everyone for the good memories and to wish next years football team good luck. Unbelief, fear and excitement fill you as you stand in line to receive your diploma. Thoughts of all those treasured years are going through your head. Your high school years are over now. No more weekends filled with fun, laughter, and parties with friends, will be yours to share. You are on your own now. Soon you will be leaving home. Making your own living, Paying your own bills. No one to tell you when to be in at night. No brothers and sisters around to fight and argue with. All of a sudden you have to start all over, Make new friends, Try to find yourself in a new environment. It all seems so strange and sudden to be pushed off into a new world. Now as you shake hands with the principal and receive your diploma you ask yourself . . . Is this what I have been waiting for all this time? Just a strange new world? LEFT: Junior Marshalls; L.
