The Long-Awaited Day Howard Casmey, Commissioner of Education from the State of Minnesota was the honored speaker at the Graduation Ceremonies held May 28, 1970 at the High School Auditorium. The theme of his speech was Trips to Exciting Places which was enjoyed by everyone. The Commencement Exer- cises were well attended. The student speaker was Mark Moebeck who gave a humorous talk on the years leading up to our big day. Along with the speakers, we owe our thanks to the Choir, which sang You'll Never Walk Alone , and to the Band which played Exodus. Lyle Tobin presented the Class of 1970, and B. Madsen proceeded to hand out the diplomas to 138 eager graduates. Knowledge Comes From Learning These students gained recognition as honor students by maintaining a 3. 25 average throughout their senior high years. TOP: LEFT TO RIGHT: N. Denelsbeck, K. Graner, A.
