After seeing Our Miss Brooks, the Junior Class Play, and the problems of an English teacher you've probably changed your minds. It was a play with in a play with Miss Audubon and Miss Brooks competing for the directorship. Miss Brooks won but this only presented more difficulties. She didn'tgive Rhonda Allen,daughter of an influential board member, the leading part. Even though Miss Brooks had a soft spot for the coach, Mr. Longacre, she ended up by having a feud with him over the use of the gym forplay practice. After the discouragements of their love life Jane, the leading lady, (who is hopelessly in love with Ted) decided, along with Miss Brooks, to become an old maid. When the night of the play finally arrived Martin had an allack of appendictis. After much pursuasion Mr. Longacre decided to take Martin's part in the play. After this event Miss Brooks claimed being an English teacher was fun after allI
