We wore a grin while shining shoes, our grin widened when we won first place, and an Oscar, with our One-Act Play, Wilbur Faces Facts, then we were tops in the March of Dimes and were really proud! We presented a Valentine's Dance which was a large success. Our May Day Princesses were Beverly Reinhardt and Doris Allen. A year of memories-our Sophomore year. Initiation of the Books, second place and another Oscar with our One-Act Play, Life O' The Party, a new record in the March of Dimes, and our biology trip to the coast were the year's highlights. Princesses representing us on the May Court were Jackie Mealue and Doris Allen. The inspirational player award went to Dick Rayley Due to the poor season, Canby had only three men that were placed on the all-league team, Glen Harris and Bill Gleason received honorable men- tions, and Arlan Bigham placed on the second team. Bigham also received honorable mention on the Clackamas County All-Star Team.
