We are proud to present our 1983 Toot. Along the way we missed deadlines, lost pictures but finally we got it all together. To Miss Dixon, Miss Martin, Mrs. Besl, Mrs. Filey and Mrs. Wright, we owe a special thanks for pushing and aiding us in finishing the job. To the staff, and for those who helped, we offer our gratitude for their time and efforts. A yearbook is for memories, we look back at our accomplishments and see where we've grown. The theme for the 1983 Toot is The Road Not Taken.” It was choosen because we felt it was descriptive of the Class of '83 in our journey. It symbolizes both memories of our school years passed and the road we will take in years to come. As graduates, many of us will choose the Road Not Taken for our next step in life. When school opens next September Mrs. Marjorie Peterson will not be heading automatically from Chittenango to Canastota. We'll miss her reminding us to get to our home- rooms, to type with more accuracy, to put commas in the right places and most of all we'll miss her smiling face in eighth period study hall. Best of everything Mrs. Peterson. En- joy your retirement. 6
