Class History We entered high school in September, 1947 under the watchful eye of Mr. Pratt. The officers were as follows: President, Elinor LaMonte: Vice-President, Matt Leach: Secretary, Doris Mann: Treasurer, Audrey Saxton. The Student Council representatives were Audrey Saxton and Reva Butler. We enjoyed a skating party at Bath. Our Sophomore year we elected the following officers: President, Reva Butler: Vice- President, Audrey Saxton, Secretary, Lillian Shuteg Treasurer, Elinor LaMonte. The Student Council representatives were Doris Mann and Eugene Gregorius. We enjoyed a skating party and the class picnic at Scott's Cabin. We held a bake sale for the purpose of raising class funds. Our advisor was Mrs. Lester. Under the guidance of Mr. Churchill, we completed our third year of high school. The class officers were as follows: President, Eugene Gregoruis: Vice-President, Milton Harvey: Secretary, Doris Mann: Treasurer, Charles Wilkins. The Student Council repre- sentatives were Charles Wilkins, Elinor LaMonte and Matt Leach. We held a turkey raffle, bake sale and we also sold autograph books. We are also proud of the fact that our Prom was considered one of the best ever held in this school. Mr. Barocco was our advisor as we entered our last year in high school. We elected the following officers: President, Charles Wilkins: Vice-President, Reva Butler: Secretary Matt Leach: Treasurer, Janet Livergood. The Student Council representatives are Elinor LaMonte, Doris Mann and Leona Austin. We held two bake sales, a magazine campaign and, for the first time, we sold pencils and tablets. We produced a Senior play called Growing Pains. With these many activities we are all striving towards the ultimate goal of every high school student--GRADUATION. Class Colors-Green and White Class Flower-Yellow Roses Class Motto- Just Begun, Going On. ZZ
