Class Prophecy It has been ten long years since I've heard from any of my classmates, but I've wondered what happened to all of them when graduation was over. The front pages of the Pow Wow are screaming with the accomplishments of the Seniors of '51. Congratulations are now in order for all of you. It has now been successful years since we have been away from the Old Alma Mater. We hope the road each of you has chosen has been as suc- cessful as ours. As I glance over the columns of the Pow Wow, I notice by the headlines that Charlie Wilkins has been doing research work on the latest developments in atomic energy in Oak Ridge. I-le has now returned to Burns and set up his Lab. He recently hired Lillian Shute as his private secretary and it is said that a slight romance is in the making. Under the society column I notice the former Doris Mann has made a hit in her latest stage play, Al1 Is Fair In Love And War. She is returning to I-Iornell where her husband, Gene Norton is at- tending the Ford Motor, Inc. Also in this column appears a familiar name. Mrs. Colin Carney, known better as Leona Austin, appears to be having a luxurious time for herself in the Hawaiian Islands. It is said that they own a large manufacturing company and produce grass skirts which she models in her spare time. Under What's New Next, my eyes rest on the name of two well known men. Milt Harvey and Bill Pierce, who purchased an estate in the Metropolis of Swains and are constantly experimenting with new and faster methods of pasteurization. It is said and I quote. They are the richest men in that district. f They wouldn't have to be very rich, would they? Q Fa-y Bennett is one of those who has remained in the vicinity of Dody's Corners. Audrey Saxton sold her estate to him and he has gone into the business oi raising his special new ever grown Bennett potatoes. . Audrey has been touring the country as the wife of Lieutenant E. J. Swain and on the side line accompanies for the famous Dixie and Jazz Band. Fay cou1dn't let the Saxton estate run down so he rented it to the Bob Fogles, the former Reva Butler. Reva now carries on the duties of an everyday housewife and entertains frequently. Tinker Gregorious started out as assistant cashier for the Canaseraga State Bank, but was re- cently promoted to the Treasury of the U. S. Government. Janet Livergood is married and resides in Elm Valley. She is trying out the techniques of motherhood, raising little Danny to be as successful as his parents. It has been written that Venitha Thompson is living in the bustling suburbs of Birdsall and working industriously at her paintings. Her newest project is designing her own home. Matt Leach is now preparing his sermon for Baccalaureate Services being held for the class of '61, In his spare time he corresponds with the Lonely Hearts' Club. James Newvillehas completed his term of Mayor of Swainsville and is now planning to run for president. Doris Wilson and Janet Jackson have been serving our country faithfully for the last ten years. They both now have obtained their discharges. Janet has become a model and Doris has gone into acting. As I gaze over the pages of the latest hits in movies in the columns of the Pow Wow, I see Grant Case as the featured cowboy and co-starring Doris Wilson in Casey Rides Again. The movie is being previewed in the Lux.Theater in Garwoods. ln the Chatter Box I noticed that Elinor LaMonte and Lois Ann Kiley are now traveling the globe after they both have finished their vocation. Elinor is superintendent of the famous Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Lois Ann is the private beautician of the victorious Gorgeous George. They are planning to return to their prospective jobs if they don't find their one and only. As l glance down the column I see mention of the recent marriage of Clayton Kenyon to Judy Canova. Ace was home on leave from the Air Force when the ceremony took place and they left for their two weeks honeymoon on Paradise Island. Thus the pages end: They who walked the halls of C. C.S. have proceeded far toward the goal of success. Witnesses: Venitha Thompson Lois Ann Kiley William Pierce 19
