THE CHIEFTAIN Fifth Grade M I .There were originally forty-two of us, but after the first week, we vyere divided into sections. Our section had twenty-two pupils. Robert Sullivan moved to Nunda and Margaret Stein to Dansville. ln February, Ronald Mess joined us. We had parties at Hallowe'en, Christmas, St. Valentines Day and Easter. ln February, we put on our Assembly Program, Abe Lincoln and His Moth- erf' ln March we organized a Junior Audubon Club. to study birds. ln May, we had our grade trip to Letchworth Park, where we saw the home of Mary Jemison, the White VVoman of the Genesee, and Museum there.
