Nineteen fellows came out for track this year. As the season is just beginning, it is impossible to predict the outcomeg however, the following are expected to add many points as the season progresses: Dan Crist in the shot putgdiscus, and 100 yard dashg John Busey in the 100 yard dash, 220 yard dash, and broad jumpg Bill Mcllwain, hurdles and 220 yard dashg John Cathers in the 4403 Wilbur Barnhart broad jump and discusg and Rodney Wildermuth in the mile, one-half mile, and high jump. With the help of other squad members it is hoped that the squad will have a successful season. The meets with Big Walnut and Marion Franklin were lost.
