We chose as our theme, The Last Roundup of the Forty-niners, and decorated the gym as we imagined the West during the gold rush time. We entered the gym through swinging doors labeled Last Chance 49er's Saloon. A bar where soft drinks were served, a covered wagon, coal oil lights, cacti, and guns provided the desired atmosphere and the gym was really transformed into a bit of the Old Westn for the night. In addition to a steak dinner, our guests were entertained with a floor show and dance.
