SUPER VI I PRI CIPAL MR. JOHN DEISSEROTH Last June I met a senior girl in the corridor and we discussed her graduation. Since then her words as we parted have been often in my mind. l love this school, she said. The construction of this addition to the East Hill School will mean that the seventh and eighth grades will study there instead of in the high school building. I know that as they build tradition and spirit there, they, too, will love their new school. They bring to us responsible leadershzpn PRI CIPAL MR. RALPH SCHULER The historian, H, G, Wells, once wrote that human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe. Your Alma Mater has helped you to understand more clearly the challenges which face our demo- cratic way of life. It is my hope, now, that you may have the faith, the vision and the strength to accept these challenges, in order that this way of life, with all its blessings, may be secure for you and future generations of Americans.
