HENRY POETTCKER, B.D., Th.D. President Instruction: New Testament faculty PRESIDENT ' S ADDRESS There is something thrilling about making discoveries. All of us remember the stories we read about explorers who went into the unknown and discovered new lands, treasures and peoples. With them we foo had new vistas opened to us. The student who moves out into the world and whose particular chapter of the world includes C.M.B.C. makes his discoveries too. Faith can take on a new and living dimension and a sense of community can grow out of the family context which has become so meaningful here. The discovery of self is a further vista that opens to the student in the academic setKng. This may be both a frustrating and encouraging experience, yet one that must come for anyone to relate meaningfully to his Creator, to his Lord and to his fellow man. You, the reader, are invited to make your own dis¬ coveries as you browse through these pages. WALDEMAR JANZEN, M.A., Th.M. (Ph.D. cand.) Instruction: Old Testament, Biblical Theology, German GEORGE D. WIEBE, A.M.M., A.R.C.T., Mus.M. Instructor in Music

Community becomes dynamic as we live together, studying, socializing and sharing in discussions. The encounter between stu¬ dents and faculty and staff enriches and adds new dimensions to student life. Fur¬ thermore, the community is a testing ground to examine the authenticity of our witness, be it word or act. The C.M.B.C. community is part of a larger community, the constituency. Through exchanges both college and constituency gain perspective on their roles.
