Our great Varsity basketball Stars once had to learn to dribble. The Cat's Tale Staff had to first learn how to scribble. The golf team had to learn how to putt. Even the girls in Home Ec. were taught to cut. The track team learned to walk before they could run. The speech team worked hard before they could have fun. Our tennis team had to learn to serve. Even our super teachers had to learn to grade on the curve. The football team practiced to give it their best shot. The U.l.L. team fought to come out on top. The band, twirlers, and flags practiced long hours to add to the spirit The cheerleaders had to learn the words to the cheers before they could yell it. In 1980-1981, the Annual Staff learned a lot from our mistakes. After all, we had to put up with photographers like Eric and Mace. Though the pictures may not be up to perfection, You would really laugh if you saw the piles of rejections. You're welcome to try if you can do better. But remember, we're all in this together. This was a new experience for we were all new. We want you to know Cats, we're 10095, loyal to you. Now to the Black and Gold, we tip our hats.
