JIM BUSSARD P O Box 6 Llpscomb TX 79056 1806 862 44815 After graduatlon I went to college at Goodwell Oklahoma After one year of college I jolned the Navy Alr Force I spent a llttle over three years 1D the Navv about one half the tlme golng to dlfferent schools and about one and one half years 1D the South Paclflc After I got out of the Navy 1D the sprlng of 1946 I went to work for Rock Cowan on ea ranch 1 nL1pscomb County In 1953 I marrled Mona Turner H111 She had two chlldren Lavoun and Lane In 1955 we had a son Lance In 1973 I leased the ranch that Mr Cowan had and I am stlll 1D the ranching business I guess the best part about gettlng older lS grandchlldren and medlcare ELAINE BROADUS HENRY P O Box 1177 Estes Park CO 80517 C303 586 38189 After graduatlng from CHS I attended Buslness College 1D Wlchlta Kansas worklng there for a whlle Durlng thls tlme I started uslng my flrst name Dusky I am known as Dusky E Henry Left Wlchlta to attend Pepperdlne Unlverslty 1D Los Angeles and later Abllene Chrlstlan Unlv 1D Abllene Texas Back to wlchlta lP 1947 llvlng there for two years From 1949 to 1952 I llved 1D Amarlllo Texas dolng Secretarlal work Marrlage plans were made then cancelled Moved to Portland Oregon 1D 1952 where QI worked for- the Oregon Journal lnewspaperl for two and one half years Returned to WlChlta ln 1954 and llved there untll 1969 Had several posltlons the last one belng with the U S Federal Court In early 1969 I marrled Cecll F Henry who had retlred from the Alr Force He had a log house plus 3g acres 5 mlles outslde of Estes Park Colorado lH a beautlful area I acqulred a great step son and eventually a lovely daJghter ln law followed by two terrlflc grandsons They llve 1D Houston Texas Cecll worked for Rocky Mountaln Natlonal Park for several years I taught Sunday School classes at the Church of Chrlst dld part tlme offlce work plus home maklng Cecll developed emphysema ln 1989 and we made plans to move to a lower altltude In June 1990 we signed a sales contract on our property On July 5 1990 Cecll dled qulte suddenly leavlng a blg vo1d 1U my llfe Strength from the Lord and lovlng f lends helped me deal wlth my grlef The property was sold and I moved Into an apartment 1D Estes Park I have a part tlme offlce job and do volunteer work st the publ c library Senlor Center and Nurs ng Home I cont nue to be Involved In church actlvltles September 1991 I had surgery for total rlgnt knee replacement qulte an exper1ence If you are ever ln thls area please call f , . . ... ,f I . . f . , . C'-s HELEN STUDER SLUSSER Sulte l25 3809 Splcewood Sprlngs Rd Austln TX 78759 Llfe has not been wlthout lf s trauma and challenges but so far I ve survlved and. wlth a smlle on my face and thanks 1D nqf heart It s lt some years yet In retlrement for 7 years lh East Texas and on a cove of Sam Rayburn was a real change a pleasure and lots of work Gardenlng flshlng and mowlng 9 acres was lndeed hard work My famlly never thought lt offered the challenge my llfe thrlved. on and so rejolced when I accepted a job to teach school So here I am stlll teachlng and enjoylng being busy and teachlng As long as I am healthy and effectlve I probably w1ll 1D some capaclty Slnce I teach lH Burnet my days are long and I am rarely to be found at home I am unmarrled and enjoy vlsltlng wlth sons and their famllles lD Arllngton Houston Brentwood TN and wlth my brother Tom ln Corpus I make these rounds rather conslstently My son John dled of cancer when he was a college student The other three are successful buslnessmen and have lovely wlves and chlldren I occaslonaly stop by Cleburne to have coffee wlth Sylvester Reed and hls wlfe wllma who are lnterested and lnvolved wlth grandchlldren as I am I made a speclal trlp recently to vlslt Betty Ann Studer Welshaupt She lS the same brlght wltty beautlful smlle cousln she always was It would please me to travel more yet I ve been to Spaln Canada and to several countrles 1D Europe I thlnk I would llke to teach school one year ln Alaska dependlng on good health and other conslderatlons It lS about the last of the frontlers and that lnterests me The only other thlng I can thlnk of to wrlte lS how good food 1s ' About the only 2 thlngs I don t llke are llmburger cheese and buttermilk I am not sure lf that lS fortunate or unfortunate' It s one reason for my worklng out at a sports club when I drlve ln from Burnet I don t know how people go through rough tlmes wlthout a lot of falth Truly the Lord lS good Cwhen I was young 1D college I thought anyone who taught school had to be crazy 1D the head But I enjoy lt now and flnd I enjoy klds today BIG SURPISE D ei . -is .ii - s i f . , . .Q f 1- really been a great life, I continue to enjoy it, and hope I get to keep

OLEY WILSON 2029 Sallal Road Woodburn OR 97071 Followlng graduatlon at CHS I att Panhandle A S M College at Goodwell Oklahoma for a couple of years Then I dld a short stlnt 1U the Army Alr Corp comlng home to farm for my Dad who was 111 In 1946 I marrled June Ward a 1944 grad of CHS We llved ID Canadlan and I had several jobs Our daughter Loulse was born In 1948 and our son Rlchard was born lH 1951 In 1955 after a unlque dlvlne prod I flnally answered a llfe long call to the mlnlstry We moved to Abllene and I enrolled 1D McMurry College also taklng the job of Youth Dlrector at the Flrst Methodlst Church there Before graduation I became student pastor of two small churches Flnlshlng McMurry I enrolled at Perklns School of Theology at S M U Agaln I had two rural churches whlle attendlng School Upon my graduatlon and ordlnatlon 1D 1961 we moved to southern Mlnnesota My home Conference of Northwest Texas was full at the tlme and semlnary graduates were belng lntervlewed and sought by Dlstrlct Superlntendents from varlous parts of the country We felt led to go to Mlnnesota and spent twenty two happy and productlve years there In 1983 I became dlsabled and had to take dlsablllty leave whlch contlnued untll the date of my scheduled retlrement We now llve 1D Woodburn Or ibetween Salem and Portland! where June has relatlves We are ln a corporatlon Senlor Estates Golf and Country Club which lS a retlremert center We don t play golf but enjoy the other beautlful facllltles especlally the swlmmlng pool And we have a wonderful Unlted Methodlst Church nearby where we flnd help and love JERRY PONDER ROUSH 5709 Berget Amarlllo TX 79106 1806 353 02661 After graduatlng from Canadlan Hlgh School I attended Texas Tech Unlverslty along wlth Peggy O Nelll and Betty Ann Studer As we all know the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and World War II started that year I flnlshed only one semester because my parents moved to Amarillo and I declded to attend Buslness SChool there After flnlshlng school I went to work for The Cotton Belt and Southern Paclflc Rallroad as a secretary and later for Southland Llfe Insurance Company I was lnvolved lH the J S O and met my husband who was statloned at Amarlllo Alr Force Base We were marrled 1D 1944 and 5 months later he was sent overseas to the south Pac f c He was gone for about a year when he returned we settled down and he was 1D the bulldlng buslness We llved 1D Amarlllo all our marrled life except for one year when we moved to Wlchlta Kansas whlle my husband dld a houslng proJect We had a daughter 1D 1947 and a son lh 1953 I dld not work full tlme whlle our children were growlng up My husband died ln January of 1978 from a heart attack I went to work 1D Aprll of that year for Zales Jewelers and worked there for l2 years I am now retired and am fortunate to have both my daughter and son and hls famlly llvlng here I am blessed wlth two darllng granddaughters and keep busy wlth church actlvltles frlends and famlly r . . . . . . . , . . , , . . . - . , . .L - r r r . . ,I . . . ,, r ' r 1 r . , n. - 1 . . . , . . . . . . . . . .. . . - . . . . . , . . , . . . v . - . , 1 4 - I . . . . . - . . , . . . . - r . . r - .
