LOUISE GREEN SPILKER 1414 Trllllum Ct Indlanapolls IN 46219 C317 898 39927 I attended T S C W at Denton TX durlng 1941 1942 before taklng a buslness course 1D Amarlllo I was soon employed at the Foxworth Galbralth Lumber Co as Secretary Bookkeeper I met my husband to be at a USO dance 1D Amarlllo 1D late 1942 He was LewJs Spllker of Indlanapolls ln the Army statloned at the Amarlllo Alr Force Base We marrled ln 1943 and son new Our and llved 1D an apartment 1D Amarlllo untll the end of the war Our flrst John was born 1D 1944 We moved to Indlananapolls ln 1945 bullt a home and my husband eventually became employed at the E11 Lllly Co second son Rlchard was born lh 1949 These sons grew up marrled located 1D the Indlanapolls area They have glven us three wonderful granddaughters In 1954 I enrolled at an Indlanapolls Unlverslty Butler and contlnued untll I recelved my BS degree 1D 1959 I was employed at a local Jr Hlgh School where I taught home economlcs for ten years I 1964 I recelved my MS degree from Purdue Unlverslty I changed to teachlng famlly l1v1ng and psychology 1D a local Sr Hlgh School where I stayed unt1l my retlrement 1D 1985 I have been actlve ln our church and varlous women s organlzatlons and have taught Sunday School Classes for Chrlstlan Educatlon a state teachers sororlty and church assoclatlon s women s group My husband and I have enjoyed travellng to Europe 3 tlmes Vlrgln Islands Abaco Islands Hawallan Islands as well as numerous Canadlan provlnces and.
