' Seniors make big plans Big plans to make their class out- standing were in the forefront of many seniors minds as they re- turned for their final year of school. With almost a thousand dollars in their coffers at the beginning of the year, one of the first things the class did was to try to decide what to do with the money. They finally decided to have a bell installed at Colt Stadium on a con- crete slab, to hold a senior banquet and to provide a new set of benches for Campus. As committees moved to set up each project, things began to hap- 'ee ESQ 7. pen. The class finally voted not to install the bell because the only available bell at a reasonable price was not appropriate for such use. In March, the group decided to take a senior trip to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City. In mid-April, the trip was cancelled because of adminis- trative problems. Finally, the senior class ended up with a banquet at the Canterbury Inn in early May, - as their project. At this banquet, seniors elected as senior superlatives by the class were announced.
