With a new teacher and new mu- sic, the CHS Stage Band sharpened their skills and improved much over previous years. The Stage Band consisted of the most highly skilled percussionists, brass and woodwind players at CHS and was directed by Mr. Chris Coots. Activities during the year included in which they participated the jazz Festival at K-State where they re- ceived a one rating, providing en- tertainment at the Expo 75 at Cessna and performing in three CHS con- certs.
