Wrestlers Attribute Winning to Coaches COACHES - Mr. Bob Williams and Mr. john Gingraux. Coach Bob Williams has been Head Wrestling Coach at Campus High School for the past 14 years. Since Mr. Williams has been coach 20 Campus wres- tlers went to state. The one thing Mr. Williams hopes to accomplish before he retires is to win the A.V.L. Wrestlingtitle. Coach Williams wrestled heavyweight in high school at Erick, Oklahoma for four years. He placed in State his senior year. He then attended Oklahoma State University at Stillwater Okla. where he wres- tled at 177 pounds. SENIOR WRESTLER - Russell Kercher has a strong pinning hold on his Ark City wrestler. 911 0-'lr Coach john Gingraux has been assistant coach to Mr. Williams for the past four years. He coaches the B-Varsity team during the wrestling matches and coaches the wrestlers along with coach Williams during practice. Coach Gingraux went to high school at Derby High where he wrestled 127 pounds for four years. He also went to State his senior year. He then at- tended Fort Hays State College, although he did not continue to wrestle. f CHS GRAPPLER - Campus had several close calls, the Ark City meet was no exception. Although the Campus man is down, Campus pulled through to win the meet.
