V W ff ,I . 2231 5 1 I , .L lite CAMPUS GYMNASTIC COACH - Starting his fifth year as coach of the boys gymnastic team Mr. Richard Riggs, carefully fills out the gymnasts scores and performance records to be turned in after each meet. PARALLEL BAR ROUTINE - The strength used in order to execute a good and almost perfect routine is demonstrated by sophomore gymnast Greg Kaul. Under the supervision of Mr. Richard Riggs, the Campus High Gymnastic Team broke the previous school record in scoring the most team points since the sport of gymnastics has been at CHS. Coach Riggs commented that, although the Colts will be losing many of the valuable seniors from the team, the freshmen and sophomores that will be on the team next year, will be an excellent group of gym- nasts for competition. The team itself did pretty good but in the individual competition their real talent came through. This in- cludes the outstanding performances by senior team captain, Steve Burba and sophomore, Duane Nelson, for placing 3rd and Sth place in the Regional Gymnas- tics Meet, which made them eligible for competition in the State Meet.
