When the Campus B-Varsity footballers prepared to play their first football game they only had had about one week of practice together as a team. This is because they were usually helping the Var- sity team get ready for their foot- ball games. This lack of practice together showed as the B-Varsity ended the season 3-3. The B-Var- sity was mostly composed of sophomores and a few juniors, only because the juniors were playing on the Varsity Team. The Sophomore team got the short end of the stick because they too, were scrimmaging the Varsity Team. However, despite a loss of concentrated practice, the Sophomore Footballers still showed a 2-4 record at the end of the season. Approximately ten sophomores played Varsity foot- ball and that also slowed down the team from a winning season. The Varsity Football squad added two new coaches to the team for the 1973-74 football season. Coaches Dick Palmer and Don Harmison both helped lead the Colts to a 3-6 record. All coaches started the season early in the summer with prac- tices each day until the end of the season. Seven Coaches led each of the teams, Varsity, B-Varsity, Sophomore, and Fresh- man to outstanding records.
