ENTERTAINMENT - The theme song chosen for the 1973-74 Annual lunior-Senior Prom, was Time In a Bottle, played by Village. 72 O-1' SUSPENSE - Seniors, Gary McCutcheon and Linda Scott, seemed to be tensely awaiting the announcement of Prom King and Queen. QUEEN OF COURTS - King Steve presents Queen Bambi with the traditional robe during the ceremony.

Vicki Huffman escorted by Mike Deaver. .Ek.5,,ii Anita Hight escorted by Mark jacobs. On May 2, the 1973-74 Annual journalism Banquet took place at the Ramada Inn on Broadway and Kello- gee. The Banquet was held for the Yearling staff, newspaper staff and editors, pre-journalism and jour- nalism students. At the Banquet awards were given to the Yearling staff members, newspaper staff and edi- tors, and the 1973-74 Yearling King and Queen were crowned. The Yearling staff nominated Leslie Klein, Debbie D. Smith, Anita Hight, Tom Vaughn, Mark jacobs, and Gerald Osburn for King and Queen candidates. Nom- inees for junior Attendant were Debbie Dalton, Vicki Huffman, Cindy Stearns, Robin Wagnor, Mike Deaver and Steve Randall. The student body votes decided that Leslie Klein and Tom Vaughn would be Yearling King and Queen for 1973-74, and for junior Attendant Debbie Dalton and Robin Wagnor were elected. Everyone had an enjoyable evening. To end the banquet the Yearling staff presented Miss Corley with a gift of appreciation for being more a friend than a teacher.
