Back Row - Debbie Logant, Anna Bond, Merri Wolf, Louise Desmarteau, Daylene Hicks, Nancy Meyer, Lisa Youngers, and Debbie Fox. Not pictured - Addie Cook, Kim Craig, Ann Hull, Nancy Stephens, Debbie Barrnet, Connie Lewis, jenny Casmear, Connie Faelber, Terry Button. Directed by first year Coach Weldon Roberson, the Campus High School Girls track squad made a fine showing. Although the Girls failed to win any meets, they did show the talents as they were well represent- ed by underclassmen. Two of the Girls that did com- pete well in the Regional meet held in Dodge City were Sophomore Kim Craig and junior Louise Des- marteau. Both of these girls were in field events as H... Freshman Gain Training Through Experience FRESI-'MAN BASKETBALL - Front Row, Dwayne Richards, Kirby Thompson, Tim lohn- son, lay Pierce, Rob Ward, Scott Chilcot. Second Row, Donald George, lim Hartman, Steve Steele, Brad Renollet, lames Barnum, Tim Richardson. Third Row, jeff Darr, Terry Schreiber, Richard Bootes, Brad Cunningham, Curtis Parker. Dwayne Richards follows through on a free throw to add to the Colt lead. Brad Renollet sets to shoot another free throw after being fouled. james Barnum adds another free throw to the Colts lead. The Freshman Basketball A-Team boosted a losing record of 0-11 while the B-Team broke over the .500 mark with a 3-2 record. The Young Colts lost over three games by one point. The Colts were led con- stantly by guard Ieff Darr and forward Steve Steele. The Colts have new coaches also with Wayne Valen- tine as head coach and joe Hoover assistant coach. The Freshman were without the services of Scott Griffin this year because he was moved up to the varsity squad. 103 O-1'

Second Row - Elbert Thomas, Brian Burnside, Allan King, Paul Comegys and Tom Eastman. Top Row - Victor Noordhook, Kenny Strait, Doug Adams, Wayne Trimmell and Rod Victors. The 1974 track team had many various changes as several School Records were broken. Records were broke in both the Medley and Two Mile Relays. Also there were two rec- ords broke in the jumping events, the High jump and Triple lump. Other records broke were the One and Two Mile Runs. One mile Steeplechase and the 180 yard Low Hurdles. The upperclass men led the squad to one of the most vic- torious seasons for Campus track. As the Colts were victo- rious at their own Campus Invitational and brought home a second place trophy at the Wellington Relays. And also by placing third in the tough Ark Valley League meet.
