This year's carnival was held October 6. There were many different booths and plenty of entertainment. Despite the cold weather, the carnival was still well-attended by students and faculty. The cold was probably felt most by Donna Wise, Sylvia Morris and others as they went under in the dunking booth, sponsored by the girls soft- ball team. The pony ride and petting zoo sponsored by the CMC, was a favorite among the children attending the carnival. The art club sponsored an art sale and cartoon drawings and as usual there was an abundance of food and drink booths. Entertainment was provided throughout the day by the Dixie Land Band, the BSU puppets, crossties, a barbershop quartet and also Andy Cundiff and Marty Bailey.
