Homecoming Explodes With Sights, Sound As the leaves of fall blanketed the campus, Campbellsville had an outward appearance of slum- ber. However, the peaceful atmosphere belied the outburst of activity which accompanied autumn to the campus. This outburst was witnessed by all as eyes turned toward the bands as they promenade through the streets of downtown Carnpbellsville during the 1971 -72 Homecoming Parade. All those hours of work and sweat payed off in the end. The iloats this year were the best in the College's history. Three, however, were exception- al. Sigma Tau Delta, with the theme of I-Ianzel and Gretel received first place in the float contest. Second, went to Don Quixote, sponsored by the Spanish Club.
