Among Homecoming weekend's major activities were an after-game night of fun and frolic, providing you weren't too tired to participate. The girls had no hours and the S. G. A. had planned a full weekend of ex- citement. The community Bowling Alley was rented for the College, a movie in the Chapel, swimming in the pool, and always those private parties of your own mak- ing, helped create a Homecoming that won't be forgotten on this campus for years to come. Elinor Clark, a sophomore from Monterey, Ky. , was elected Homecoming Queen from among 17 girls. She was crowned in the half-time ceremonies before a capacity crowd. ,52- STUDENT LIFE 25
