STUDENT NATIONAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION A part of the national organization for students planning to become teachers, the local chapter provides exploratory experiences for students interested in professional education and helps future teachers to develop professionally. Members receive both N.E .A. and K .E .A. Journals, attend local, regional, and state meetings, hold joint meetings with other college Associations, and have speakers from the Kentucky Education Association. C3 .332 Here is found a representative group of Campbellsville College students. Each member of the Student Council is a leader of an organization or is elected by the stu- dent body, Elected members compose the Executive Council. They are as follows: Betty Sue Cave, President, Bob Sumner, Vice -president, Betty jo Shearer, Secretary, Phyllis Campbell, Treasurerg and jerry Hutchins, Reporter, The Student Council regulates affairs of common interest to the students, subject to final approval of the College Administrative Council, and provides the students, by means of their representatives, a voice in student matters which are brought to the attention of the College Administrative Council. Its purpose is to promote Wholesome academic life and co -curricular activities, and to provide mental, social, and spirit- ual opportunities for every student.
