Individuality Within A Group We heard that time had changed; that college was no longer a warm spot between high school and marriage; that we weren ' t just shoppers in a husband super market and we believed it. We made friends and at times traveled in herds. Yet, most of the time we were alone and so we became comfortable with ourselves. We were no longer desperate but at times we wondered about being half of a couple. Then we realized that by ourselves we were a whole and with another we would still be a whole. We could no longer settle for being just ' i of a couple.

”

90 Sisters It s not exactly like having 90 sisters, but it ' s as close as we want to come. Every year we do come, bringing different life-styles, personalities, morals, and they expect us to live together. Within the first two weeks of school we either go home to stay, fight it out, or give up and hope for an improvement next year. Then it happens — we mesh and everyone ' s opinion is sought on everything from dress, to study, to men, to manners. Now of course growls can be heard in the early mornings and late at night, but very little blood is shed. You see tensions may come but living with these clowns how can they last!

”
