Dedication Mrs. Hopson Campbell College is all the richer for having among its employees an interesting group of individuals of varied talents who are characterized by great devotion and a yearning to serve. To acknowledge our appreciation for the impact of their combined efforts, the staff of the Pine Burr has chosen three of this number to receive the distinction of this year ' s dedication. By coincidence, the scene of their current labors is the Carrie D. Rich Memorial Library. They are: Mrs. Josephine Lasater, a native of Harnett County, mother of six Campbell alumni, active in political organizations, women ' s clubs, and church affairs, formerly college hostess, and secretary of alumni affairs, and presently librarian in the curriculum library. Miss Winifred Kuhns, native of Delaware, for years a successful teacher of mathematics at Peace Col- lege and Campbell College, remarkable for her variety of interests and her concern for the welfare of stu- dents and her many friends, and presently assistant in the curriculum library. Mrs. Emma Leigh Hopson, formerly dean of women, originally from Kentucky, personifying the in- fluence of travel and culture, custodian of archives, loyal friend, and supporter of all activities of the College. To these, in the name of Campbell College students, faculty, and staff, we respectfully dedicate the 1969 Pine Burr.
