Wils. ii •k MISS NELL POWELL (19.531961) Idleness is alien to her makeup. HOWARD (1938.1959) Propelled by evangelistic fervor to ever more distant places, the Reverend Charles B. Howard has become a virtual stranger to Campbell College, the scene of his long en- deavor. MR. B. P. MARSIIBANKS (19091953) Endowed with the ruggedness of the moun- tains from which he came. Professor B. P. Marshbanks has demonstrated a zest for work far out of proportions to his years. MR. JOHN E. AYSCUE (1926-19.50) Out of sight, but still remembered and loved. Professor John Ayscue enjoys the fruits of retirement in the warm glow of memories that tie him inevitably to Campbell and Buie ' s Creek. MISS ORA C. CANSLER (1946-1961) Her hours are a labor of love and dedica- tion to her sightless brother. Her free mo- ments recall memories of busy and useful days at Campbell. MISS ADA MACK OVERBY (1926-1957) From her initial role as secretary to Dr. J. A. Campbell, Miss Overby served long and faithfully. Her interest in and love for the college continue unabated.
