MR. B. P. MARSHBANKS After more than four decades in the service of Campbell College as teacher and business manager, Professor B. P. Marshbanks re- tired in 1950 to the strenuous role of a full-time farmer. His vigor and enthusiasm in this activity belie his advancing years. Church and family interests consume his spare time. - Wf MISS ADA MACK OVERBY A faithful worker who began her connection with the college in the role of secretary to Dr. J. A. Campbell in 1926, Miss Ada Mack Overby has spent her recent years at her home in Angier. Her love for Campbell College continues unabated and her occasional visits to the campus afford mutual pleasure. MISS ORA C. CANSLER Confronted with a personal responsibility of aiding a sightless brother as housekeeper and companion, Miss Ora Cansler severed her connection with the college in January, 1960. Those who knew her as teacher, colleague, and friend, are all the richer for the last- ing impression of her faithful and effective witness. MR. JOHN E. AYSCUE From the first year of the junior college. Professor John E. Ays- cue has lived in the hearts of his students. Tall and erect, his frame and his loyalty stand upright as a witness to the best traditions of Campbell College. Recalled from retirement on two occasions, Mr. Ayscue has been living near Raleigh, out of sight, but not out of mind of those who loved him. THE REVEREND CHARLES B. HOWARD Since his retirement, the Reverend Charles B. Howard continues his busy calendar of evangelistic meetings at churches scattered throughout the Southeast. For a change of pace, his brief visits home are given over to arduous, physical exertion, beautifying his home and improving his property. Always, he is a man in motion — a man bent on a mission. 30
