Professor Ernest Marshall Walker ecilcatian A college is the lengthened shadow of many individuals who work apart, and yet. together. Each passing year rounds out the impact of their influence. Some are more able, others are more willing, and still others are more durable. Professor Ernest Marshall U alker has demonstrated the knack of organizing his life for a maximum contribution. As a teacher of biology, he has stimulated en- thusiasm for his subject. As an ordained minister, he has helped in the work of many churches and shared the benefits of his experience with younger brothers on the campus. As a competent businessman, he has demonstrated sound practices and good judgment. As a person, he has accumulated a host of friends. In recognition of his cheerful outlook and well-rounded life, his gift of com- munication, his interest in students and their activities, we, the PINE BURR staff, lake pleasure in dedicating our 1959 effort to our friend and advisor, the Reverend E. M. Walker.
