(Proveii)s 12:2) This man ' s storehouse is filled with treasures that cannot be bought with the currency of the market place. More precious than rare metals, his assets include a long span of years of useful service in the pulpit and the classroom, an alertness of mind, a zest for life, a sense of humor, a love of the commonplace, an influence for good among his family, friends, neighbors, and students. Endowed with an aijundance of gifts from the Gi er of all good things, he has shared with us his information, his wisdom, his experience, his laughter. We consider it a privilege to dedicate rhis 1950 edition of Pine Burr to our friend and teacher, Professor John E. Ayscue. ■p f THE KIVETT BUILDING— Frog legs— the click, click, click of typewriters — deadly smelling gases — ice cream. P. The road from the idea of an annual to its completion in such an acceptable form is a long one. Many de- tails must be looked after, many hours of effort must be ex- pended. Against all opposition, the record was 14 wins, 4 losses, and 2 ties.
